Funding
Student Organization Funding
Registered student organizations are eligible for up to $200 in operating funds and up to $2000 or $3000 in programming funds depending on status. Only those registered student organizations whose presidents, treasurers, and advisors have completed their respective orientation sessions may be eligible to receive CSA funding. Please review the student organization guidelines for complete information on fundable and non-fundable expenses.

Programming Funding Request Operating Funding Request
Summer Quarter begins a new fiscal year for student organizations, therefore, all funding starts over. If an organization has not received all of its programming or operating funds for the 2006-2007 academic year, that money does not roll over to the next year for the organization.
Deadlines for 2007-2008
Below is a list of future programming fund deadlines:
Spring 2008 - February 1 (events occurring March 24 - June 15)
Deadlines for 2008-2009
Below is a list of future programming fund deadlines:
Summer 2008 - April 25 (events occurring June 16 - September 20)
Fall 2008 (part 1) - July 18 (events occurring September 21 - October 31)
Fall 2008 (part 2) - October 3 (events occurring November 1 - January 4)
Winter 2009 - October 24 (events occurring January 5 - March 29)
Spring 2009 - February 6 (events occurring March 30 - June 21)
These dates are applicable for undergraduate, graduate and professional students. Those organizations, which operate on a semester system, should plan on applying for their events according to the dates above.
Audits
All organizations who receive operating funds in 2007-2008 must turn in an audit by June 1, 2008. Organizations that fail to turn in their audits by this time will forfeit funding for their organizations in the future.
Programming audits are due within 30 days after the event. Organizations that were approved for programming funds will be reimbursed after submitting their audit, including itemized receipts, and according to the Student Organization Guidelines regarding fundable expenses.

Council on Student Affairs
The Council on Student Affairs (CSA) is a Subcommittee of the University Senate. It serves as the link between the student governments, the faculty and the administration. It also is serves as the advisory body to the Vice President for Student Affairs. For more information about CSA, please visit their website at studentaffairs.osu.edu/csa.asp.
CSA Allocations
This group is a subcommittee of CSA and is made up of students, staff, and faculty working together to determine how Student Activity Fee money and some Student Affairs money is allocated. In the case of student organizations, this group decides funding issues and reviews proposals.
