Academic Courses

In an effort to help students make meaning of their personal leadership experiences, the Ohio Union coordinates and supports several leadership studies courses offered through the School of Educational Policy and Leadership. These courses include:

EDUPL 270.04 Career Development and Leadership Training: This course is offerred to the general undergraduate population, as well as to specific cohort groups such as sorority and fraternity members and student organization presidents.

EDUPL 271 Leadership in Community Service: This course is offerred to the general undergraduate population, as well as to specific cohort groups such as the Mount Leadership Society and ServeCorps.

EDUPL 371 Introduction to Leadership Theory: This course is offerred to the general undergraduate population as well as to specific cohort groups such as the Student Leadership Advocates.

EDUPL 571 Theories of Leadership in Learning Organizations: This course is offerred to the general undergraduate population and often serves as a senior student leader capstone class.
